From our Assistant Principal

Term 3

It's hard to believe that we are moving towards the end of term 3 so quickly. For our students and staff it has been an active and interesting term. At the recent SSG meetings, we celebrated student progress and planned for continued learning growth. Our Curriculum Day last week was a day of learning for all staff in the areas of Positive Behaviour Support, our whole school Literacy approach and building our staff teamwork to best provide for our students.

I am going on leave at the end of this week and will be attending a wedding overseas.

Lauren Shannon will be Acting Assistant Principal while I am away.

I wish all of our students and families a positive end to the term, a good term break and I look forward to catching up with you all at the start of term 4.

Parent/Carer Survey

A final reminder about our parent/carer survey. It would be great to hear from you about what our school is doing well and your ideas for how we could continue to grow and improve. So far, we have had 11 families respond and complete the survey. If you need help to complete the survey, please contact the front office and we will organise for someone to support you. An interpreter can be organised if needed.

We would love to hear from more families!

Fathers' Day Stall

Thank you very much to Leanne Gordon for another very successful Fathers' Day stall. For our students, it is a great experience to visit the stall and select something for their dad or other special person. We really appreciate the amazing job Leanne does with much planning and preparation during the year and then managing the stall so well at school. Thanks too to Bec Gilmore for your support too. It was great to see students going home with their gifts at the end of each day ready for Fathers' Day!
