Catholic Identity

Year of Prayer

In preparation for the Jubilee next year Pope Francis has declared this year as the ‘Year of Prayer’. Prayer is an integral part of who we are as Catholic School Communities. Opportunities for prayer allow all to encounter and build their relationship with God.

Kindergarten students have been learning to make the Sign of the Cross in class.

The Sign of the Cross reminds all of the Mystery of the Holy Trinity…

God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.

First Holy Communion

Congratulations to the 24 students who received the Sacrament of First Holy Communion last Sunday 8 September in the Bulli Parish. We pray that the Eucharist will continue to nourish them on their faith journey and give them courage to be Jesus in the World today. Children were praised for their reverence and participation. We thank Fr Patrick, the Year 3 teachers and parents for preparing the children so well for this significant day.

We continue to pray for the students who are preparing to make their First Holy Communion for the first time on Sunday 22 September at 8:30 am and 5:30 pm. All are most welcome to join the parish and school community at these times.

Fr Patrick and all the Year 3 students will celebrate with cake on Monday 23 September in the school hall at 10:30am.  Please advise the school office if your child has any dietary requirements.

Year 2 First Reconciliation (Term 4)

Year 2 students will celebrate the Sacrament of First Penance (Reconciliation) on Thursday 31 October at 9:30am in the Church. Parents are welcome to attend!
