Secondary School Musical

A Wonderful Showcase of Talent!

On September 11 and 12, our Secondary school students brought the timeless musical Oliver! JR to life in a dazzling performance that captivated the entire audience. Based on Charles Dickens' classic novel Oliver Twist, the musical follows the journey of a young orphan, Oliver, as he navigates the harsh streets of Victorian London, encountering a cast of colorful characters, including the cunning Artful Dodger, the notorious Fagin, and the kind-hearted Nancy.

The lead role of Oliver was portrayed beautifully by Rebekah Davey, whose heartfelt performance captured the spirit of hope and resilience. Heidi Burford shone as the quick-witted Dodger, while Mia-Maree Hart delivered a commanding performance as Fagin, the leader of a band of pickpockets. Megan Jansen gave a powerful portrayal of Nancy, and Jesse Yeap brought an intimidating presence to the stage as Bill Sykes. Caleb Chu gave a fantastic performance as the pompous Mr. Bumble, while Amelie Vilar brought humour and charm to the role of Widow Corney, creating a memorable duo on stage.
