NEW YEAR, NEW LIBRARY

Welcome back to the new school library for Term 1 of 2024! We hope that you all had a wonderful break and are feeling refreshed and ready for the new school year ahead. Our library team has been hard at work preparing for your return, and we cannot wait to share all of the exciting resources and services that we have in store for you.

We are welcoming so many new programs, clubs and events this year, so be sure to keep up to date with our advertising and media.

Whether you are a student, parent, or staff member, our library is here to support our students in their academic pursuits. From our extensive collection of books and research materials, to our online databases, eBooks, and collaborative spaces. The College Resource Library is here as a hub of innovation and creativity for our school community.

As always, our library team is here to assist you with any questions or concerns that you may have. We are committed to providing a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for everyone, and we look forward to serving you in the year ahead. Welcome back, and let's make 2024 a great year!

NEW RESOURCE LIBRARY CLASS SESSIONS

As the new College Resource Library opens its doors for 2024, the library staff have been working hard to plan and timetable class borrowing sessions across the P-12. We are pleased to present students and teachers with increased availability of library borrowing sessions to accommodate more classes.

LIBRARY LOVERS DAY THIS VALENTINES DAY

This day is known for celebrating love, yes, but it’s also Library Lover’s Day on February 14! The day is dedicated to book lovers across the globe, while it also honours libraries and the amazing life-changing books they hold within them.

During Valentine’s week, students took part in writing a love letter to the library or catching a blind date with a book during their library visit.

This Library Lover’s Day, we encouraged individuals to celebrate the valuable roles libraries play in our lives and to re-engage with our libraries and 'show the love'.

Many thanks,

The Library Team: Jen, Karen, Meg.
