SRC

The Student Representative Council (SRC) plays an integral role at Roselea Public School and involves students from Years 2-6. It is designed to give students the opportunity to develop leadership and communication skills as well as develop their self-confidence. SRC run meetings to discuss topics that are raised by their fellow class members.

From this, SRC students plan, promote and start a range of initiatives for students to participate in and raise money to support charities and our school.

Some activities that SRC students are involved in include:

  • Fundraising opportunities
  • Communication between staff and year groups
  • Communicating events in the school newsletter
  • The organisation of school initiatives including recycling

On the 1st March, our SRC students were presented with their badges at our first whole school assembly. Below are the group of students elected by their peers to represent students within our school community for semester 1. Congratulations!

Our first initiative for 2024 was our annual Clean Up Australia Day event. On the 1st March, our school took part in cleaning up rubbish to make our school shine! SRC students showed off their creativity to design posters to promote the event. Each stage was given a different area of the school to clean. Thank you to all students and parents who supported this great initiative!
