Darren Chester Visit

Year 9 and Year 11 Legal Studies students got the opportunity to learn more about our political system when Darren Chester MP for Gippsland visited on the 20th February. Students and staff learnt about Darren’s role as a Member of Parliament and the political system in Australia. They also had the opportunity to ask Darren questions about his role and his position on a range of national and local issues such as climate change, wind turbines and the stopping of native logging.

Students got a lot from the session and it was wonderful to see our local member spending time with our students.
