Kitchen Garden

It has been another busy, exciting and fun couple of weeks in Kitchen Garden.  The students continued to familiarise themselves with the new kitchen, learnt about table manners and created delicious pancakes.   

Many jobs in the garden were undertaken such as repairing broken wicking beds, planting, caring for the chickens, watering and weeding.

I am still looking for volunteers to assist in the kitchen and garden.  It is a wonderful way to get involved in our school community.  If you or anyone you know is able to assist please email me (inger.furlong@education.vic.gov.au) or contact the office.

I would like to include recipes from our Skye community in each newsletter, so if you have one that is a family favourite please email it to me.
