Diocesan Swimming- Carnival Wrap Up

8 students attended the Diocesan Swimming Carnival in Gunnedah last Friday the 1st of March. It was a scorching hot 41 degrees but students represented out school with pride and enthusiasm. It was lovely to see their team spirit and outstanding cheering for one another, a true display of our core school values of feeling valued, cared for and respected. Students achieved some outstanding personal best times in very competitive age groups.

Congratulations to Jorja Jamieson and Andy Bartholomew who qualified for the NSWCPS swimming championships to be held as SOPAC in Sydney on the 3rd of April. Jorja achieved 12yr girl Runner Up over all and qualified in the 50m Butterfly, 50m Backstroke and 200m Individual Medley. Andy qualified in 50m Freestyle and the 200m Individual Medley events.

More Swimming Success!

Congratulations to Ryder Hird, Ricky Hird and Andy Bartholomew who swam at the NSW Speedo Sprint Finals held at SOPAC in Sydney on Saturday. The boys were representing the  New England & North West region. These finals are for swimming club swimmers who qualified in heats held across NSW last month. Your swimming has come so far and we are very proud of your achievements this season.
