2023 Lunar New Year Celebration and Welcoming Semester one new international students
On the 9th of February, the eve of the lunar new year, international students joyfully gathered in the school library to commemorate this significant festival. Among them was Y10 newcomer JoJo Ji, who enchanted the audience with a beautiful rendition of a Chinese song. Principal Sharon graced the occasion with a warm welcome speech, emphasizing the importance of cultural exchange and mutual respect within our school community. Additionally, twelve new international students took turns introducing themselves, fostering a sense of camaraderie and inclusivity. Adding to the festivities, it happened to be one new student's 13th birthday, prompting a collective celebration among all attendees.
The Lunar New Year Eve celebration served as a shining example of the spirit of inclusivity and unity that defines our school. It was a time to Honor traditions, forge new friendships, and celebrate the rich cultural heritage that each of our students brings to our community. We extend our heartfelt thanks to all who contributed to making this event a resounding success, and we look forward to many more moments of joy and celebration in the days ahead.
Wishing you all a prosperous and harmonious Lunar New Year!
