Parent Reference Group

The first Parent Reference Group (PRG) meeting for the year will be held on Monday 18th March at 7:30pm. Parents and guardians who are interested are welcome to attend. The meeting will be held in the Staff Lounge. Please enter via the Front Office.

Second Hand Uniform

We have a large supply of second hand uniforms available from the Front Office. If you are in need of any items please contact the Front Office, 5382 3545, and we will endeavor to help you.

 

 

 

 

 

Presentation Ball Meeting

Planning for the 2024 Presentation Ball has begun! A meeting will be held on Monday 25th March at 7pm in the Senior Study Centre. Year 11 students and their parents and guardians are asked to attend.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Vending  Machines

  1.   We advise staff & students that some of the products offered through the vending     machine may contain traces of nuts, and
  2.   We remind students they should not share any product purchased or brought to    school from home.

NAPLAN - Guide for Parents 

NAPLAN tests start next week on 13 March and run until 25 March. An information guide for parents, families and carers of students participating in NAPLAN is now available and includes frequently asked questions. The guide, prepared by ACARA (Australian Curriculum Assessment and Reporting Authority) is available here - https://bit.ly/3wpdI8w.

NAPLAN assesses the literacy and numeracy skills that students are learning through the school curriculum. It is important to remember the main purpose of NAPLAN is to provide additional information for teachers, schools, and parents about how students are progressing, and help identify areas for improvement.

 

School Athletics Day

St Brigid's College House Athletics Carnival will be held on Thursday 21st March, 2024. Students are to come to school prior to the event and they will be bused down to Dudley Cornell Park after Homeroom. Students are not to go directly to Dudley Cornell.Students are to wear their house colours or full PE uniform on the day. Students should bring a packed lunch, water bottle and school hat. A limited canteen will be operational throughout the day selling sausages and snack foods.Town students will be dismissed from Dudley Cornell Park at the conclusion of the day at approx. 3pm. Students that need to catch a country bus or the Nhill or Murtoa bus will be taken back to school at approx. 3pm to catch the bus. Students who travel on their bike are to catch the bus back to school to collect their bike. We invite families to come and along and join in on the day. We advise you to bring a chair.
