School Psychology Service

Dear CNPS families,

In the past CNPS has been lucky enough to have the psychological services of onPsych for our students. They offer professional help with issues, such as:

  • Making friends
  • Dealing with bullying
  • Fears, phobias & anxiety
  • Behaviour problems at home and at school
  • Depression
  • The stress of exams and relationships
  • Attention deficit & hyperactivity
  • Social skills
  • Eating disorders
  • Grief and loss

We are pleased to share that onPsych have now onboarded 12 new members to their team and are, once again, offering their services to our school if we have enough referrals for them to allocate resources to us.

If you feel that your child might benefit from counselling sessions, please thoroughly read the information contained within the attached onPsych Parent Pack. You will then need to visit your child's GP to discuss your concerns, seek a Mental Health Care Plan from them and fill out p.4 of the pack, complete additionally requested information within the pack, and either drop documentation to Jane at the school Office or email it through to  jane.bilby@education.vic.gov.au

We hope to let you know throughout this term whether we will be allocated a psychologist. Regards-Jane
