School Wide Positive Behaviour Support (SWPBS)
You might remember that last term we received the incredible news that we achieved BLUE! Concord School is proud to have achieved the Blue Award for its implementation of SWPBS. This recognition reflects the strong commitment of staff, students, and families in creating a safe, respectful, and inclusive school environment.
Recently, our Blue Award certificate was delivered to the school and is now on display in the Bundoora campus office.
The SRC would like to acknowledge our achievement by hosting an Out of Uniform Day on Tuesday 23rd June. We ask that everyone comes dressed in BLUE!
Please see the minutes from our most recent SRC meeting below.

National Reconciliation Week Form May 27 (National Sorry Day) to June 3rd is a time for all Australians to learn about and respect Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, cultures and histories. It encourages everyone to work together for a fairer and more respectful Australia. The 2026 theme, “All In”, reminds us that reconciliation is everyone’s responsibility every day, not just during one week. Students can help by listening respectfully, learning about First Nations cultures, using inclusive language, standing up against racism and taking part in school activities that celebrate culture and diversity. These everyday actions help build understanding, kindness and stronger relationships between people in our school and wider community. | |

| 4. SWPBS Celebration | We are proud to share that Concord School has officially achieved the Blue Award for School-Wide Positive Behaviour Support (SWPBS) from the Department of Education. This recognition reflects the commitment of our staff, students, and the broader community to create a positive, respectful, and supportive learning environment for everyone. SWPBS focuses on explicitly teaching and reinforcing positive behaviours, building strong relationships, and ensuring that every student feels safe, supported, and ready to learn.
