Leadership Forum at Parliament.

This week, our school captains (Lucas and Ella), accompanied by Mr. McFarlane, had the privilege of attending a special event at Parliament at the invitation of our local MP, Jessica Wilson. During the visit, the student leaders were given a tour of Parliament and then had the opportunity to each deliver a one-minute speech in the upper house, addressing a local or state issue they wished to highlight.

This was a wonderful opportunity for our school leaders to experience the workings of government first hand and to voice their concerns and ideas. We extend our heartfelt thanks to Jessica Wilson for her warm welcome and support of our students.

School Closure Day - Monday, 10th June

This is a reminder that Monday, 10th June, is a Public Holiday in honour of the King's Birthday. As a result, the school will be closed on this day. We wish all families a restful and enjoyable break.

PTO - Term Two Parent Teacher Interviews

We are pleased to announce that Term Two Parent Teacher Interviews will be held on the following dates:

• Thursday, 27th June: 3:30 PM - 8:00 PM
• Friday, 28th June: 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM

The 'PTO' code required to book your interview will be provided in next week's newsletter. The PTO portal will open on Friday, 14th June, for parents to schedule their interview times.

We look forward to meeting with you to discuss your child's progress.

Successful Lock Down Drill

Yesterday, our school conducted a practice lock down drill, following last term's evacuation drill. These drills are part of our compliance requirements to ensure the safety and preparedness of our students and staff.

We are pleased to report that the practice drill went smoothly, with the school effectively locking down swiftly. All children understood that it was a practice drill and responded appropriately.
