Workshopping our Writing

Writing is a significant element of our English Curriculum and this week students were able to hone their skills with the help of guest author, Scot Gardner. Scot workshopped ideas about the importance of ‘showing, not telling,’ using realism rather than ideas beyond our experience, and how to improve the detail in our writing. Scot is an experienced and entertaining storyteller and our students enjoyed the opportunity to interact with him and learn from him. We look forward to Scot returning in Term 3!
