School Production

We were thrilled to see so many students from Years 2-6 eagerly auditioning for roles in our upcoming school play. Every child had the chance to practice reading for a variety of roles during class time, and those who were motivated and enthusiastic seized the opportunity to audition during break times, giving it their all.

Our dedicated staff ensured that even those who were absent, shy, or less motivated also had the chance to participate in make-up sessions, making sure every voice was heard.

With limited roles available, including a coveted solo singing part, our team faced a challenging task during auditions and multiple callbacks.

Fortunately, our students have shown incredible resilience and positivity, supporting their peers throughout the process.

When asked about what roles our students would like, these were some responses:

Timana “I don’t mind - I’m just happy to be in it!”

Pat - “I want to be a pirate”

Isabelle - “I really just want to act.”

Vivienne - “I don’t want to be the narrator because I want to dress up as a mermaid” (The narrator can dress up as a mermaid if they like.)

Children who have been given major roles in the production have been sent home with scripts enabling familiarisation of lines to begin over the holidays. All students wishing to have a speaking role will be given lines to say, however most of these will be given out next term.

All students K-6 will be involved in this school production. All students will be on stage. All students will be involved in singing multiple songs. All parents will be responsible for costuming.  Details for this will come home as costuming details become available.

We are so excited to see this event come alive!
