Wellbeing – Mpower girls Program TERM 2

The end of Term 2 saw the completion of the Mpower girls' program for selected girls across all Grade 5 classes. The Mpower girls program ran over the entirety of term 2 and was aimed at getting female students to be more mindful of how they think, talk and act towards each other. Each student was given specific skills to effectively problem solve peer issues, to be assertive in conflict situations, reduce stereotyping and be more mindful of how their actions affect their peers.

I would like to say a big congratulations to all students who participated:

5A – Charlie & Esther

5B – Effie

5C – Isabella

5D – Shay , Sophie

5E – Ellie , Nivedhaa  & Nevaeh

You all did such an amazing job and I am so proud of you all

CHILD SAFETY AND WELLBEING INFORMATION FOR FAMILIES

The Victorian Government has announced new Child Safe Standards to further strengthen child safety across organizations, including schools. The new standards recognize the critical importance of families and the broader school community in maintaining and promoting child safety and wellbeing.

Courtenay Gardens Primary School has reviewed and updated our child safety policies and procedures to ensure they meet the requirements of the new standards. These are available to view on our school website (link below) under the parents tab.
