Ryde East Music Festival - Sunday the 23rd June
We are very excited about our band's first competition coming up! Here is a summary of the information sent out to all band families:
Ryde East Music Festival is taking place at Ryde East Public School (12 Twin Road North Ryde)
- Arrive at least 30 minutes prior to your band’s playing time
- Training Band Performance is at 10:20am
- Junior Band Performance is at 11:40am
- Concert Band Performance is at 1:50 pm
**Students are expected to stay for adjudication and award presentation where possible.
Please leave time for parking, as the school has no available parking on site so street parking may be hard to come by.
If you have any questions, do not hesitate to reach out to the Band Committee.
Week 9 will be a very busy week for our bands. We have the Police Band Workshop on Tuesday 25th June and then our Training and Junior Bands will all be performing at the whole school assembly on Thursday 27th June.
Volunteers Needed:
Festival of the Bands is coming up in August and we are putting the call out to parents to volunteer your time to help us organise the event. If you have some time to spare to help sourcing sponsorships and donations for the raffle, please reach out to Fallon via Whatsapp.
Committee Meeting
Keep an eye out, we are confirming dates for a Band meeting in Week 9 or 10. More information will come via Whatsapp.
