Students this term have been exploring the topic of Perspective in Art. After completing a 1-point perspective drawing focusing on realism, textures, and tone, they were tasked with creating paintings in aerial view (also known as 'bird's eye' view').

Students explored the elements of line, shape, and colour to create an original painting based on a place that was special to them. Firstly, they sourced map images of a location that holds meaning to them, then they determined the best composition through sketches, before creating their final artwork using watercolour and markers.

ART CLUB is running every Friday lunch time

Art Club is a safe space for students to explore different art practices at their own pace. Many new connections and friendships are made in Art Club, and it is a great opportunity for students to develop their creative thinking and fine motor skills.
