End of Term and Holiday Break

School finishes at 2:30 pm on Friday 28 June for all students. Please arrange to collect your children on time. Buses will depart by 2:50 pm, so plan for earlier collection times from the bus stops.

The College is closed for the term break from 29 June to 14 July. The office reopens Monday 15 July. Staff will have a training and development week. Term Three commences for all students on Monday 22 July.

Online Safety

This week, I was privileged to be a part of filming a promotional video with Linewize, our online safety partner. Some amazing young students were also interviewed and gave honest and pertinent reflections about what it means to them to be kept safe online and to know that at Bayside Christian College, teachers can monitor their screens and ensure they are on task.

Did you know that Linewize also has parent partnership tools available? These enable you to monitor your children's devices, including non-school devices.  This is included in our College's subscription. If you would like to know more about how to use Linewize to protect your children online after school hours, contact the ICT team for more information about parental access.

Reports

Semester One Reports should be available in your Sentral parent portal from the end of the day on Friday 28 June. If you have difficulty accessing reports or logging in to Sentral, please contact the ICT Helpdesk

Traffic Management

Please ensure you exit the College gates with utmost care, particularly in the afternoons when it is most congested. There has been one accident this year and a number of near misses. We encourage you to put safety as a priority and as much as you can, please turn left to exit either campus to avoid crossing the traffic.
