A Mega Week!

Hello Magill Families,

What an exciting week it has been at Magill School! Our days are always busy, but this week has been truly ‘Mega!’ Wednesday and Thursday were packed with fantastic activities as part of our biggest fundraising event of the year. Our students had a blast participating in various fun challenges. There was friendly competition between classes and among students, all eager to win extra time on the obstacle course, pedal karts, mini golf, and even a class movie with popcorn. Of course, everyone REALLY wanted the opportunity to become Principal for a day. Congratulations to class winners F9 and N2. Katerina and Terance are super excited to have achieved first place! I wonder what their day as Principal will look like for the rest of us. Watch this space.

A huge thank you to all our parents, extended families, and friends for your incredible support. Thanks to your efforts, we have raised an amazing profit of over $20,000!! This money will go towards enhancing your child’s experience here at Magill. Your generosity is truly appreciated!

In other news, we recently welcomed new students joining us midway through the year. It has been wonderful to see our community come together to ensure these newcomers feel welcomed and at home as they start their school journey with us next term. Teachers and leaders visited kindergartens, getting to know the children and preparing them for this exciting transition. Our reception staff worked tirelessly to set up welcoming classrooms, while our Year Six Leaders have been invaluable in supporting new students and families during playtime.

We eagerly anticipate Term 3 when our youngest students officially join our Magill family. Thank you all for your ongoing support and involvement in making Magill School such a wonderful place to learn and grow.
