Gala Day 

Last Thursday our Senior students participated in their 2nd Gala day for the Term. Students had a great day and multiple teams came away with pennants for the day which was exciting.  Congratulations to the following teams who were winners for their competition pool; 

• Lawn Bowls Girls 
• Softball Girls  
• Netball Open A
• Netball Girls A 
• Soccer Open C
• Netball Open B  

Athletics Carnival 

Next Term we have our Middle and Senior Athletics carnival in week 3 & 4. We are putting expressions of interest out for parent helpers for the successful running of these events. If you are able to help out and join in on a fun and enjoyable day, please email Jayne.beith@education.vic.gov.au. Your help and support to these events are greatly appreciated!

Performing Arts

Our Year 4’s took to the stage this week at Karalyka Centre for our annual Production night - ‘Circus Pandemonia’.  This production was a huge hit with both students and parents alike.  We couldn’t be prouder of the effort our students, teachers & parent helpers put in, to make this stage show incredible!  

Library News

It has been a busy term in the Library with our Book Fair and lots of reading and borrowing. We look forward to an exciting Term 3 with the Children’s Book Council of Australia Book of the Year Awards and Book Week in August. 

We would like to say a huge thank you to our Library Assistant, Justine Horkings, who has been with us this term while Sue Offer, our Library Technician, has been on leave. We look forward to welcoming Sue back next term and thank Justine for all her help. 

All library books borrowed this week are checked out until after the holidays. Please take some time to read during the holidays, enjoy the break and we will see you all back in the library in Term 3.
