Senior Art-Textiles

The Year 3/5/6 class have been very busy working on their sewing skills. Each student has learned how to sew a running stitch, thread a needle and tie a knot. Indi has even learned how to cross stitch when Mrs McNaughton popped in for a few minutes to drop something off.  The students traced a hen shape on the material, then used a running stitch to go around the outline. Next, they added in extra details and buttons. We can't wait to show off our finished pieces.
