Denise's Message
Dear Families,
Term 2 Holiday Break
We have come to the end of term 2 and have completed Semester 1 of 2024 which appears to have gone so very quickly. As we reflect on all that has been achieved, I recall all the wonderful learning experiences in which each of our children has been involved. They have continued to live out the words of Catherine McAuley, '..be good today but better tomorrow'.Each of them has strived to do their very best across all curriculum areas, for which I congratulate them as we see them grow into independent, creative, and curious learners.
I know that you would all want to acknowledge the work of all our educators for their continued hard work and dedication in providing our children with great care and learning opportunities and in return they certainly appreciate your continued support and cooperation. When we work together, we can continue to provide our children with many varied and amazing learning opportunities.
I hope you have a restful and relaxing holiday break as well. It's great to hear about the wonderful activities available for children through OSHP, TheirCare, and local community organizations. Taking time away from screens and spending quality time with friends can be very beneficial. Enjoy your holiday!
Congratulations
Congratulations to our Yr 1/2 teacher Kate and her husband Marcus on the safe arrival of the baby boy, Dash William, born on Thursday 20th June. A baby brother for his big sister, Scout.
We wish them every happiness as they begin life as a family of four.
Congratulations also to our Diversity Leader Lyn and her husband Rob on the arrival of their first grandchild, Mia, born on Monday 24th June. We know she will bring joy and happiness to you both.
Condolences
Our thoughts and prayers go out to Leanne, one of our LSOs, on the passing of her much loved mother Meliat who passed away on Friday 21st June. May perpetual light shine upon her, and may she rest in peace.
Parent, Student and Teacher Conversations
We thank you for your attendance at our Parent Teacher Student Conversations, which have taken place over the past two days. I am sure you enjoyed hearing about your child's successes over semester 1 and discussing the goals for the following terms. If you were unable to attend please ensure you contact your child's teacher to organise a time to meet early in term 3.
School Fees
Thank you to those families who either paid their fees in full or are keeping up to date with their instalment payments. If you would like to discuss your family's fee account please do not hesitate to contact me or our Office Manager, Michelle Scheggia.
