RSC Twilight Sprint Meet

We hope you’re all looking forward to our Twilight Sprint Meet this Sunday! It’s going to be a short, sharp, and exciting afternoon of racing — starting at 2:00pm with an estimated finish time of 3:52pm (all going well!).
Below are the key details you’ll need for the day, including the timekeeping and technical rosters. A huge thank you to everyone who has already confirmed their availability — your support is what makes these meets possible.
Event Schedule
- Arrival Time: 12:30pm
- Dryland Warm-up: 12:45pm
- Pool Warm-up: 1:00pm
- Meet Start: 2:00pm

Timekeeping
All timekeeping positions have been allocated to Ringwood SC families — please check the roster and confirm your availability as soon as possible.
We’ll be running a 20-minute break between Events 2 and 3, creating two short shifts (around 45 minutes each). Regular timekeepers have been rostered on each lane and will stay for the full meet as buddies to assist those newer to the role.
If this is your first time timekeeping, or if you’d like a refresher, please meet Kay Yates at the Meet Office at 1:30pm for a short demonstration. Timekeeping is a crucial role — every swimmer is striving for a personal best or qualifying time, so accuracy and diligence are essential.

Our usual BBQ, raffles, and lucky envelopes will be running outside throughout the meet.When you arrive, we’d really appreciate extra hands to help with setup — many hands make light work!
👕 Uniform Reminder
All swimmers must arrive in full RSC uniform:
- Club cap
- Club polo
- Club or plain black shorts/pants
- Club hoodie (or plain black hoodie if needed)
❗ No pyjamas or grey pants, please.
Need gear? We’ll have some uniform items available for purchase at the clubrooms on Sunday.
