Senior Visual Arts
Our Grade 6 students have been busy in the Visual Arts room designing and creating their own personalised graffiti walls! Inspired by street art and mural design, students are exploring creative lettering, and bold colour choices.
These unique artworks will be proudly displayed at their Graduation later this term, celebrating their individuality and the creativity they’ve developed throughout their years at primary school. We can’t wait for families to see these vibrant pieces that showcase both artistic skill and personal expression!
Our Grade 5 students have been exploring the exciting world of street art, focusing on artists who use stencils to create bold and thought-provoking designs. They’ve learned how stencil art allows artists to share ideas quickly and creatively in public spaces.
Students have designed their own unique stencils and are going to use these stencils to create their own masterpieces.
Our Grade 3 and 4 students have been exploring the incredible silo art found across Australia. They’ve been inspired by the way artists transform everyday rural structures into giant works of art that celebrate local stories and communities.
Students have taken on the challenge of creating their own mini decorated silos—a tricky task when working on a rounded surface! Despite the challenge, they’ve shown wonderful creativity, patience, and problem-solving skills.
