Grade 2 - Indigenous Incursion

Last Friday, Leongatha Primary School and Secondary School College came together for a meaningful Indigenous incursion, where students collaborated to construct talking sticks. This hands-on activity not only provided a deeper understanding of Indigenous culture but also encouraged teamwork and relationship-building within the group. Through the creation of these symbolic objects, students learned the importance of respectful communication and the value of connection within their community.
