Leongatha Primary School Newsletter - Week 6

We are excited to welcome everyone to Week 6 of Term 4! It’s shaping up to be another busy week full of exciting activities and events, and we’re looking forward to seeing our students continue to shine.

This week, our Prep to Grade 2 students are participating in the Healthy Harold sessions. These interactive and educational sessions are a wonderful opportunity for our younger students to learn about important health and safety topics, including nutrition, hygiene, and emotional well-being. We’re sure the students will have lots of fun while learning valuable life lessons.

On Tuesday, we will be holding our Remembrance Day Assembly to honor those who have served in wars and conflicts. It will be a meaningful occasion for our school community to reflect and remember the sacrifices made by many. We encourage all families to attend and support this important event as we pay our respects.

We are thrilled to announce that our Grade 6 students will be participating in the Regional Cricket competition this Wednesday. It’s an exciting opportunity for our young athletes to represent Leongatha Primary School and showcase their cricket skills. We wish them all the best of luck and hope they have a fantastic time competing.

This Friday, we will be continuing our Step into Prep program for future students. It’s wonderful to see so many eager young faces as they get ready to join us next year. The program offers a great introduction to school life, helping the little ones feel comfortable and confident ahead of their big start in 2024.

As always, we wish all of our students, staff, and families a wonderful week ahead. We hope it is filled with learning, fun, and lots of positive experiences. Let's make Week 6 another memorable one.

Have a fantastic week, everyone.
