English

We are learning to:

• read and spell words containing 4 sounds
• understand that prepositions are words that position people or things in space
• identify a preposition in a sentence 
• choose a preposition to describe the actions of a character
• use prepositions in our writing.

Mathematics

We are learning to:

• identify how many groups, how many in each group and how to count to find the total
• order 3 or more familiar activities
• read hour time on a digital and analog clock
• describe and compare volumes.

Science and Technology 

We are learning to:

• identify the basic needs of living things 
• identify different ways that animals and plants obtain water 
• respond to and pose questions about weather in the local environment
• explore different kinds of weather.

Geography 

We are learning to: 

• find different places on a map or image and describe where they are located
• construct a simple map to represent a place and spaces within it
• understand the language of a compass.

Personal Development and Health (PDH)

We are learning to:

• identify the safe administration and storage of medicines.

Visual Arts

We are learning to/about:

• use the dot painting technique to create an artwork 
• follow a set of instructions to create an artwork based on a shared text.
