School Psychologist - Dana Santon
My name is Dana and have recently joined Carnegie Primary School in the role of school psychologist. My working days are Wednesday and Thursday, providing counselling and assessment services.
I have previous experience working in private practice, secondary education, The Orange Door and out-of-home care. I am also accredited to undertake pet therapy duties with my maltese-cross-toy poodle, Charlie in private practice settings and am looking to update my accreditation to include school-based services, with the hope to bring Charlie one day a week.
In my spare time, I enjoy reading, Pilates, and walking Charlie at the beach.
I look forward to working closely with staff and families to support our student’s wellbeing, learning, and participation in the school community.
Clementine Ellis - Front Office
Hi there, my name is Clementine and I've joined Carnegie Primary School to join the front office Administration team. Previously, I was doing a similar admin role at a secondary school, Sandringham College.
Before entering the education world I worked in various industries, everything from fashion houses to working at Channel 9 and pride myself on being able to complement existing processes, assist those in adjacent positions and help with the smooth running of whatever system I'm a part of.
Away from work I'm a wife and a mum of two teenage boys so spare time is taken up with sports, activities and being part of a very busy family, oh and feeding our cuddly cat, Charlie!
Roxana Brito - Business Manager
My name is Roxy Brito. Previously working at Toorak Primary School since 2018 and at Bondi Beach Public School, Sydney prior to relocating to Melbourne. I feel privileged to be joining the team at Carnegie PS and look forward to working with the school community.
In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family, my two little Havanese dogs and catching up with friends. I enjoy visiting new places, walking, swimming, eating out and spending time in my veggie patch.
I love being part of a school community and look forward to getting to know the families at Carnegie PS and working to achieve great outcomes for our school.
Tori Ferres - Grade 5C
My name is Tori Ferres, and I am very excited to be joining the Carnegie Primary School community. This is my third year of teaching; previously, I taught Grade 2 at a school in Mount Waverley. In my classroom, it is important that, together as a class, we create a safe, respectful, and welcoming environment where everyone feels comfortable being themselves and supported in their learning.
In my spare time, I enjoy listening to music, baking, and spending time with friends and family. I also love spending time with my dog, Milly, who is a miniature groodle. She is absolutely gorgeous, though she can be quite a challenge to walk!
I am really looking forward to getting to know the students in 5C, their families, and the wider Carnegie PS
Lan Timewell - Grade 4C
My name is Lan Timewell and I am delighted to be teaching 4C this year and to be joining the warm community at Carnegie Primary School. I began my teaching career in 2016 and have taught at schools in the suburbs of Casey and Greater Dandenong.
Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my husband, who is my greatest support and constant source of laughter. We live with our three animals, two cats and a dog, who keep life busy and entertaining!
I’m excited to get to know students, families and staff and to work together to make this a joyful and rewarding year.
