First Assembly – Monday 2 February

Our first assembly for the year will be held next week and will be a Year 1–6 assembly.

Assemblies are held every Monday in Session 5. Classes are asked to arrive by 2:45 pm for a 2:50 pm start.

Assemblies rotate between Whole School, Senior School (Years 2–6), and Junior School (Foundation–Year 1). This term, the first few Whole School assemblies will include Years 1–6 only, allowing Foundation students time to settle into school routines. Foundation students will attend their first assembly at a Junior Assembly in Week 8.

Each assembly includes a designated Spotlight Class. This class will present a short item to share something they are learning or an educational focus. Presentations should be engaging and a maximum of 5 minutes.

Please take note if your class is presenting in Term 1:

A classes will present in Term 1
B classes will present in Term 2
C classes will present in Term 3
D classes will present in Term 4

If you would like to include an item in assembly, please follow this process:

Email or message Rose to confirm the item is suitable
Enter the details in the Assembly document, including length, item, and teacher in charge
Add a slide to the Assembly Google Slides (linked in the document)
Let Rose know if any special equipment, props, or microphones are required
If you would like to rehearse with students using microphones, please come to the hall between 2:15–2:30 pm
