6th Feb 2026- Swimming Carnival- Spectators Welcome
6th Feb 2026- Stage 3 Camp fees due
13th Feb 2026- 9.30am Opening School Mass and Leader Induction
13th Feb2026- School Assembly (2.30pm in the Hall-entry via Douglas St)
(Stage 3 will host our first assemby)
2nd-6th Mar 2026- Stage 3 Camp at Lake Ainsworth
12th Mar 2026- School Photos (info to come)
Gentle reminder
Just a gentle reminder that girls do not use nail polish. It is lovely for weekends and holidays, however please use remover to return on Monday. Also please note that earrings should be sleepers or silver/gold studs only. Dangling earrings are a hazard for students fingers to get caught on.
Travel Plan Notes for 2026
Please ensure that you have completed a fresh Travel Plan note for 2026. This needs to be returned to the front office as soon as your regular travel arrangements for the year have been decided.
Absences
New families and exisiting families are reminded that if your child is not going to be at school, you need to lodge an absence for your child in your parent Compass App (you may email or call the school if you are unsure). If we do not have a note in Compass by 10am, an automated reminder is sent from our attendance system to remind you that your child is not at school and their absence has not been explained.
If your child is going to be absent for non medical or non sickness reasons, please complete a Student Leave Form. A copy of this is always accessable in the Contact Section of the newsletter.
We also remind you that if you do not explain an absence within 7 days, we are unable to explain the absence in our system and it will appear on your childs report as unexplained. This is a state policy rule that our school is unable to change.
If you every have any questions regarding attendance, please do not hesitate to contact the front office.
Events
All excursions or events that need parent permission are published through the Events section of your parent Compass app. You should get a notification when your child has an outstanding permission note that needs attention. Please Accept or Decline these as soon as you recieve a notification that your child has an event.
Thankyou to all families who have responded to the current event outstanding for Media Consent. Each year we are required to request fresh permission for the upcoming year for your child's photos to be taken. Please Accept or Decline this event as soon as possible. We will be taking photos at the Swimming Carnival so will need to know which students we are allowed to share photos off while having fun in the sun! Again, if you are unsure how to do this, please ask.
School Fees
Our school fees are loaded and emailed out directy from the Armidale Catholic Schools office. Everyone should have recieved a Statement via email last week. Please check that you have got this, and if not, please check your Spam to see if it may have gone there.
If you are not paying your fees in a lump sum, the monthly payments are due on the 21st of each month. You may break this down to weeky or fortnightly payments if that suits your cashflow better.
If you do have any questions with regards to your fees or payments, please call the front office and Mrs Vasta (Netty) will be able to assst you.
Newsletters
This year our Newsletters will be published every fortnight on a Wednesday afternoon. Please ensure you check you school calendar regularly as this is a live working calendar.
