We’re delighted to share with Geelong families and students of all abilities to learn how to ride a bike in an inclusive environment for Term 1, 2026.

Power2Pedal- is an inclusive cycling program supporting children and young people with disability to learn to ride, build confidence and experience the freedom that comes with being on a bike.

TERM 1, 2026 - 6 WEEK PROGRAM

Dates: Monday 9th February till Monday 23rd March, 2026(There will be no session on Mon 9th March due to the public holiday)Cost: $90 (You can use NDIS funds to pay for the program)BEGINNER CLASSES (5:00pm-5:45pm)Designed for those who are new to bike riding or those who have been riding with training wheels. Focus areas will be balancing, pedalling, steering and braking.

INTERMEDIATE CLASSES (6:00pm-6:45pm)

Designed for confident riders who would like to refine their skills.

Group size will be a maximum of 8 participants with 2 coaches. We recommend all participants have someone with them at the program to support their development one-on-one. For many participants, riding is more than a physical skill - it represents independence, joy and belonging. Power2Pedal provides safe, supported environments where participants ride alongside peers, families, volunteers and the broader cycling community, strengthening social connection and inclusion at both a local and community-wide level.

Note that support staff are not organised through this program.

Should participant support be required, please organise this through a disability service provider (such as Leisure Networks 5222 3911)
