Assistant Principal Update

Term 4 has been a season of celebration and reflection at WPSC, as we consolidate our achievements and set the stage for an exciting year ahead.
Classroom Mastery
Term 4 has been a celebration of growth and consistency in our Classroom Mastery journey. Our instructional routines remain a cornerstone of learning at WPSC, with staff continuing to demonstrate strong fidelity to practice. Coaches have worked tirelessly to refine feedback strategies, ensuring every classroom benefits from targeted support and professional collaboration.
The confidence and capability of our students have been evident in every walkthrough and observation. This term, we’ve seen teachers embedding high impact strategies with precision, creating classrooms where learning is predictable, purposeful and engaging. These achievements reflect the collective commitment of our teaching team to excellence in practice.
Marrung
Our WPSC Mob Meetings have continued to thrive, providing a culturally safe space for Koorie students to lead, connect and influence school culture. A highlight of Term 4 was hosting the Deadly Future Leaders Primary Program, where we welcomed Primary school students from across the network for a day of hands-on cultural leadership activities. The energy and pride on display were inspiring and set the tone for future collaboration.
We also acknowledge the incredible contributions of our Koorie workforce and student leaders in shaping next year’s evolution of Mob Meetings. Plans for Junior and Senior streams in 2026 are well underway, ensuring student voice remains central to our approach.
CARE Captains
Our CARE Captains have finished the year on a high, delivering legacy projects that brought joy and connection to our school community. From the Senior Formal to the Year 8 Disco, these events showcased the creativity and leadership of our student team.
