Dear Families,

Welcome back to Term 3! I hope the break provided some rest for you and your families. While the term has started with some very cold and wet weather, hopefully we will start to see some warmer days.

I’d like to begin by sharing an important milestone for our school community. We are proud to present the Catholic Special School Strategic Plan 2025–2028, which outlines our vision and direction for the coming years. This plan reflects our commitment to providing high-quality, inclusive education and supporting the development of our third campus. It has been shaped by our shared values and the aspirations we hold for every student in our community.

In other news, last week Stella Li and I met with our uniform suppliers, who are now operating under new management. During our meeting, we discussed the challenges of maintaining stock levels given our small student numbers. We were advised that a minimum order quantity is required before items can be supplied. After some negotiation, we agreed on a minimum of 10 items per product (e.g., polo tops) across each school.

To help meet this requirement, we’ve introduced a new ordering schedule, all uniform orders will now be available online in Weeks 5 and 6 of Terms 1 and 3. This will allow families to plan ahead and ensure we reach the minimum order threshold. Uniforms can still be ordered the same way as usual - online @ www.silverfleece.com.au/stpatricksstudents. The portal is currently open and will close midnight on 29th August.
