Banyule and Inner North/Moreland Division AFL Championships
On Tuesday 22 July, the AFL 9s Girls team compiled of, 12 Grade 5 and 6 girls, represented St John's at the Banyule and Inner North/Moreland Division AFL Championships. The girls were successful and crowned champions, winning 10.3.63 to 1.4.10. They showed great sportspersonship, perseverance and collaboration against a formidable St Martins of Tours PS.
The AFL 9s girls team will now compete at the Northern Region Netball Finals on Tuesday 5th August at JC Donath Reserve, Reservoir.

Interschool Sport Finals
On Friday 27 June, 3 of our Interschool Sport teams competed in the Ivanhoe District Finals. Well done to the students who competed in teeball and netball finals.
Girls Netball Team
Congratulations to the girls netball team who was successfully crowned the Ivanhoe District Champions. The Learning Power of collaboration and perserverance was evident throughout the day, beating Ivanhoe PS in the semi final and Buckley House in the grand final. We thank Miss Goad and Mrs Baynes for their countless efforts preparing both netball teams each week.
The girls netball team will now progress to the Banyule and Inner North/Moreland Division Netball Championships at Narrandjeri Stadium, Darebin Road, Thornbury on Wednesday 30 th July.
