On Thursday 21st August, we will welcome Mark Wilson, an award-winning author and illustrator, to speak with students about reading, writing, and the inspiration behind his stories. His visit will be a fantastic opportunity to learn more about the world of professional authors. Families will have the option to purchase Mark's books for him to sign - more details are on the Literacy page of this newsletter.
If your child is completing any of the ICAS competitions, please take note of the week in which they will occur:
Week 3 - Writing
Week 4 - English
Week 5 - Spelling
Week 6 - Maths
To complement this term's science-based Inquiry unit, we have an incursion booked called 'Forces in Motion'. Payments will be organised through Compass - please keep your eye out for further information coming soon.
