Friday 19th September: Last Day of Term 3
Welcome to Term 3 everyone! We hope you all enjoyed a well deserved break from routine.
Over the break we were very lucky to have our incredible maintenance worker in completing some jobs for us. It is the perfect time for him to have access to the yard safely to complete these jobs without interrupting the children's access to the yard. The jobs that could be competed included redeveloping our lower garden bed, backfilling it and laying fake grass to make it a usable play space, topping up the yard with tanbark and turning over the mudpit.
Throughout this term, we will continue to focus on fostering friendships, developing essential skills, and exploring the world around us through engaging activities and playful learning opportunities.
We encourage you to stay connected with us and to reach out with any questions, thoughts, or feedback you may have. Your involvement is invaluable to us as we work together to support your child's development and educational journey.
We look forward to a fun and busy Term 3!
Squiggle Kids Parent Workshop
On Wednesday 30th July, we were thrilled to host a wonderfully successful and engaging Squiggle Kids Workshop with the fabulous Lauren and Debbie. The evening was filled with creativity, laughter, and a fresh perspective on the power of drawing in early learning.
Parents had the chance to explore why drawing is so much more than just a fun activity, it’s a key foundation for learning and school readiness. Lauren and Debbie inspired us to embrace our inner artists and reminded us how important it is to get playful with our children, even as adults!
With hands-on activities and plenty of encouragement, families left feeling empowered to support their children’s creative development at home. Everyone went home with a fantastic goodie bag of drawing resources, ready to turn inspiration into action!
If you couldn’t make it, we encourage you to check out the Parent Portal, where you’ll find a collection of suggested drawing activities to try with your child. The link has been emailed to all families. Give them a go, and let us know what works for you—we’d love to hear your ideas and share them with the wider community!
Workshops like these are a valuable opportunity to connect, learn, and grow together. We hope to see even more families at future events!

Washing Roster
The new Washing Roster was sent out on Wednesday 23 July. Each family will only appear at most once on the roster for the year.
The washing bag will go home with your child on the Wednesday. It generally will consist of hand towels, smocks and kitchen cloths and occasionally; dress ups or table sheets we have used in the program. Please return the clean washing, folded (and ironed if needed) by the end of the following Wednesday.
If for any reason you are unable to do the washing at the designated time, please arrange a swap with another family and notify the staff of the change, or ask the teacher to help find someone to replace you.
Please do not use bleach, and any mending done at the time of washing is appreciated!
Bunnings BBQ Fundraiser - Thank You
We are absolutely thrilled to announce that our Bunnings BBQ Fundraiser raised an incredible $1,692! What a fantastic achievement! Thank you to everyone who supported us.
The funds will go toward purchasing a new set of large building blocks for our outdoor play area. Our current blocks, which the children adore, are over 50 years old and sadly showing their age. They’ve provided decades of fun and creativity for generations of children, but it's now time for an upgrade.
Thanks to your generosity, we’ll soon be able to invest in a brand-new set of blocks that we hope will inspire play and imagination for the next 50 years!
