Hello Vermont families and welcome to the Mathematics section of the Nurlendi News! Here is where we will share any exciting resources, news and activities from Maths classes across Vermont Primary School.

Grade 5

Grade 5 students have been conducting chance experiments with their peers. Using Poly Pad (a great website for virtual mathematical manipulatives), students created their own chance game using cards, dice and spinners. They had to calculate the chance of winning the game in fraction and percentage form.

The students at Vermont Primary School have developed a large set of instructional videos which are designed to help parents work with their children on Maths at home.
