Specialist Feature News - Visual Art
Selamat Siang semuanya,
It has been a busy week back at school with the Swimming program well underway! We have had great feedback from the pool about all of our students and they are having a blast.
To connect with the swimming program, in Visual Art the students are creating a variety of different water inspired artworks. The Junior students have started making themselves relaxing in a pool on inflatable rings.
The 3/4 students are looking at different view points, creating birds eye view artworks of oceans, rivers and other bodies of water. This week they have created their backgrounds and will look to add subjects to their artworks next week.
In 5/6, the students have started to explore texture and depth in painting by creating artworks inspired by contemporary artist Werner Bronkhorst. Similarly to the 3/4s, they have started by creating textured, water backgrounds where they will add their subjects to next week.
We are all very excited to be back for term 3, and can not wait to share all of the amazing learning we do across the specialist subjects.
Terima kasih (Thank you) for your ongoing support!
