Halo, 

This week Foundation started their water safety program! They were super busy learning lots of water safety and swimming skills from their talented swimming instructors and have shown a lot of responsibility in and out of the pool. 

We started our new Guided Inquiry topic for term 3 this week called 'Are We There Yet?' This geography unit will take students virtually on a road trip around Australia exploring the features of places, their connection to them, the importance of place to Indigenous Australians and how to care for our country.

While we've had a busy week of swimming, Foundation also found time to write some holiday recounts during writing lessons, look at describing characters in literacy lessons, and continued our work on addition in mathematics. 

It's been a busy week, but it's been great to see students perseverance!
