Foundation - Melbourne Museum Excursion

Last Monday, the 4th August, the Foundation students travelled to the Melbourne Museum to explore the different galleries that show the past.

Foundation students loved seeing the different fossils, dinosaur bones and old toys as part of their Inquiry learning. Students even took their fact finding books to observe and draw what they learnt about during the day.

Some of the exhibits we visited included the ‘Bugs Alive’ exhibition, ‘Crystals and Gems’  and ‘A Melbourne Story’. The Foundation students loved looking at these exhibits and used them as an opportunity to collect new information on topics of interest for their writing at school.
