Years 3/4 - Hoop Time

On Wednesday, 6th August, 39 students from Years 3 and 4 walked to Nunawading Basketball Centre. They arrived full of energy and enthusiasm ready for a day full of teamwork, resilience and lots of fun.

Our young athletes displayed incredible teamwork, supporting each other through every pass, shot and defensive play. Their positive attitudes and sportsmanship were extremely inspiring, embodying the values we cherish at BEPS.

While the competition was fierce, our students never lost their fighting spirit. They gave their all in every game, demonstrating resilience and determination that would make any coach or parent proud. Win or lose, they kept their heads high and smiles bright.

Let's hear what some of the students thought:

George C- "It was a fun day and I liked that we got to verse incredible opponents and I learnt lots about the game."

Alisha- "I liked shooting goals and running to steal the ball from the opposition. It was challenging but still very fun."

Irene- "It was hard getting the ball back, but was still fun. I enjoyed watching the other teams and cheering them on, it was very exciting."

Onaya- "It was all fun and exciting and I learnt new things. I know that teamwork and communication is very important for basketball."

A big thank you to the parents who gave up their time to come and support the students, I know they all appreciated your support.
