Year 11 HHD

Last week year 11 Health and Human Development students embarked on the journey of parenthood. Tasked to care for a young infant (baby doll) for 7 days, students explored the considerations of becoming a parent including; personal, social and financial factors. Students also explored key developmental milestones that their babies experience in this time of rapid growth and development. Though out the week the babies experienced school life, attending class, school sports and extra curricular activities as well as going home with students to experience the joys of family life.
