Year 9 Writers Workshop

Year 9 Writers Workshop saw students create original Children Story Publications as part of their Curriculum. They read a variety of children’s books, studying their plots, writing styles, themes and audiences. Students’ topics for their stories ranged from growing up, anti-bullying, environment, taking care of pets and historical events and places. 

Our final presentation included a showcase of beautifully crafted pieces of Children literature with original language and illustrations. They are currently featured in the display cabinet in the College Library.  Special thanks to our Librarian, Tracey Duff for her resources, inspiration and platform to present the final publications.  The photos here indicate the imaginative style and literature of Children’s Story books.
