National Science Week
This week (9–17 August) St Joseph's celebrated National Science Week, exploring this year’s theme Decoding the Universe – Exploring the unknown with nature’s hidden language.
Students investigated how mathematics and science reveal patterns and secrets in the world around us.
Our Prep–Year 2 students enjoyed creating sensory fruit and vegetable stamps, experimenting with colours, textures, and patterns inspired by nature.
The Year 4s explored the fascinating link between maths and nature by examining the Fibonacci sequence in flower petals. They discovered how the famous number sequence appears in plants and other natural forms.
Year 3, 5 and 6 lessons have been delayed due to production rehearsals.
