As we head towards the end of Term 3, it’s a perfect time to celebrate the efforts of our Grade 3/4 Sport program every Wednesday afternoon. This term’s monitors have shown excellent organisation and commitment in supporting our weekly sessions. Our monitors, Liam, Amelia, Finley, Charlie, Orla, Albie, Ty, Lachie, Edwin, Ebony, Owen and Finn, have stepped up brilliantly in their roles by completing the following tasks:
Setup and Pack Down: Each week, the monitors have taken on the important task of setting up and packing away all the sports equipment. From goal posts and bibs to balls and cones, they’ve made sure everything is ready to go before games begin. Their hard work behind the scenes means that all teams can get straight into playing, and at the end of each session, the equipment is neatly returned for the next week.
Communication: Our monitors have done a fantastic job explaining which sport is being played, where each team needs to be, and when the next round is starting. This clear communication has kept the sessions running smoothly and made sure that no one is left out or confused about the schedule.
Responsibility: Beyond their practical roles, the monitors have shown great leadership and maturity. They have been punctual and prepared for meetings, carefully looked after the equipment, and modelled teamwork and fairness in everything they do.
This term we’ve been playing Basketball, Rounders, European Handball and AFL, with exciting competition and plenty of great teamwork on display. Stay tuned for the announcement of our Term 3 winners at the final assembly—revealed by our monitors.
