MORNING DROP OFF:
Safety when dropping off in the morning is paramount, especially on the turning circle. Students should not exit vehicles on the church side of the turning circle, as there are many vehicles entering and exiting the carpark in the morning during this very busy time.
If you need to walk your child to the school gate, it is also important that you safely park your vehicle and walk your child to the gate. This should not happen from the turning circle line as drivers must not exit their vehicles during this time.
Thanks for your support in this matter.
ST PATRICK'S TALENT SHOW IS COMING SOON!!
Our Talent showcase will be held on Thursday 11 September at 1.30pm.
More details to come.
Talent Show auditions have been happening this week. Students have been very excited.
As much as we would love to, all of the acts that auditioned cannot be in our showcase in Week 8. Teachers and our student leaders have worked closely with Mr Sedlak to select a number of acts which show a range of talent across the school. We understand that some students will be disappointed that they are not going to perform in the showcase.
If your child comes home disappointed, please spend some time celebrating their efforts and remind that how brave they were to be able to perform in front of their entire grade and how much effort they put into their performance. Encourage them to keep practising, dreaming, and trying again. Resilience is built one brave step at a time.
Have a great week,
Jim Heelis
Assistant Principal
