A Message from the Acting Assistant Principal
Mrs Chelsea McKeown
We will start Term 2 with flexibility in terms of school uniform. Students can wear either summer or winter uniform depending on the weather for Week 1 and Week 2. From Monday Week 3 (4th May) everyone must wear their Winter uniform.
Please see the details below in regards to the requirements needed for full school winter uniform. We appreciate your support in making the students come to school each day wearing their school uniform with pride.

As we transition from summer to winter uniforms, please make sure that all of your child’s items of clothing are clearly labelled with their name.
A sincere thank you to all parents who have attended, or will be attending, tonight’s Parent-Teacher Interviews. We trust that these discussions provide valuable insights into your child's progress and learning goals.
Your support and insight are vital to your child's educational success, and the teachers are very appreciative of this partnership.
We also wish to thank our dedicated staff for their professionalism and commitment. Their willingness to make themselves available beyond school hours for these important meetings demonstrates their commitment to effective communication with you.
The school holidays are a well-earned break for students—but for parents, they can sometimes feel like a juggling act! With a little planning and a flexible mindset, the holidays can be a fun and rewarding time for the whole family.
Keep a Loose Routine: While it’s nice to take a break from the usual school schedule, having some structure each day can help things run smoothly. Simple routines—like regular meal times, a set bedtime, or a planned activity for the day—can make a big difference.
Mix Activities Up: Try to balance days at home with outings. Trips to the park, library, or beach can break up the week and give children something to look forward to. At home, activities like baking, craft, board games, or even a movie afternoon can keep boredom at bay.
Encourage Independence: School holidays are a great time for children to build independence. Encourage them to help with small tasks around the house, choose their own activities, or even plan a “family day” themselves.
Stay Connected: If possible, organise catch-ups with friends or other families. Playdates (even simple ones at the park) can give children valuable social time and give parents a chance to connect as well.
Most importantly, enjoy the extra time together. The holidays are a chance to slow down, share some laughs, and create special memories as a family.
As a busy and rewarding term ends, thank you sincerely for your ongoing support and involvement.
We appreciate everything you do—whether it’s helping with homework, coming along to school events, or simply supporting your children each day. It all makes a real difference and helps create such a positive school community.
This term has been filled with growth, achievement, and memorable moments, and it is a reflection of the strong partnership we share with you. We are truly grateful for the trust you place in us and for the positive role you play in your child’s education.
We wish all families a safe and restful break and look forward to welcoming everyone back for the next exciting term.
