Hi everyone!
My name is Chloe, and I’ve had the pleasure of being part of our wonderful OSHC team for the past three years. Over the years, I’ve cherished the opportunity to build positive relationships with all the students. I enjoy engaging with them, asking about their interests, and being someone they consistently feel comfortable approaching. One of the highlights of my role is bringing humour and a sporty spirit to our activities. Whether we’re diving into a lively game on the oval or having a fun chat, I strive to create an environment where everyone feels welcomed and heard, with an added bit of fun of course!
This week, we’ve been exploring the animal kingdom in our various activities. I’m currently studying wildlife conservation, so this week’s Big Idea, which revolves around animals, is particularly exciting for me and the children! The students' enthusiasm and curiosity have been fantastic as they engage in activities like colouring animal pictures, solving quizzes, and designing their own animal creations. Additionally, discussing endangered animals (my specialty), has sparked meaningful conversations and heightened their awareness of some of the issues the world is facing currently.
In addition to our indoor activities, we’ve been taking advantage of the beautiful weather by spending plenty of time outside. We’ve been enjoying swinging on the monkey bars, dance competitions, AFL marks up, soccer and touch football on the oval, among many more.
I’m looking forward to continuing to support the students on their learning journey and seeing them grow and develop. Here’s to more fun and learning as the year progresses., including the fast-approaching holidays! See you all at Vacation Care!
