INTRODUCTION

Firstly, I would like to say thank you for the warm welcome I have received upon starting my role in the library. I have now had all grades come into the library and it has been wonderful to see how many enthusiastic readers we have at Langwarrin Park.

BOOK CLUB

Issue 7 of Book Club was sent home last week and is due back by this coming Monday 21st October. Spare catalogues are available at the front office if you did not receive one. Thank you for supporting this program.

BOOK HOSPITAL

If you notice any damage to our library books when you are reading with your child, please leave a note of the damage in the front cover for your child to return to our BOOK HOSPITAL located in the returns area of the library.

DONATED BOOKS

Thank you to the many families that have donated their pre-loved books for use in our Library and classrooms. Any books in good condition are so gratefully received by our School.

Library Website

library.langwarrinparkps.vic.edu.au is our Library search website listing every single book on our shelves along with Clickview videos.  Instructions on how to log your child into this page are located on the home page, however families can browse without a login too.  In this space you can view your child/ren's current loans, loan history, write book reviews, reserve books, and create a reading list.  In the Quicklists tab is a Premiers' Reading Challenge tab which lists all the Challenge books in our library.

Thrive Family Library

Did you know we have a THRIVE library available to families which is located in our Library. Please contact Mrs Karachawala to arrange a time to pop by to browse & borrow if you are interested.
